Alexandra opened her heart and let herself be vulnerable to Paul. The walls around Paul’s heart were torn down by the feisty Alex. Both of them are happier than they’ve been in a long time.
Paul’s ex-wife comes to town and turns their life upside down with news that shakes Paul to the core, making him question everything he’s ever done. Will Alex be reminded of why she’s never trusted anyone and leave? Can Paul show Alex that she’s the only one for him before it’s too late? Or will someone else from their past destroy them beyond repair?

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mine is novella #2 in the Naughty Girl series, and it picks right up where Naughty Girl left off, more or less.

Alex and Paul are still happily exploring their new relationship, and have bought a house and moved in together. Things have been going so well that Paul has even been considering going against his self-made vows to never get married again, and proposing to Alex. Alex, on the other hand, is happy just how things are, and is more interested in exploring her new found happiness in the career world. She has taken over PR at Paul and Max's bar, and her first party is such a hit that her phone is ringing off the hook with other bar owners looking to hire her. The sex between her and Paul is still off-the-charts hot, and as far as she's concerned, her life couldn't get any better.

But life has a way of kicking you in the teeth, and that's just what happens when Paul's crazy ex-wife, Jessica, makes a trip down from New York to pay Paul and Alex a special little visit. And that's not all. Alex has a few psycho ex-skeletons in her closet that just won't seem to go away either. When things get tough, and even downright scary, will Paul and Alex come together and become stronger, or cut and run because times are hard?

I actually enjoyed this novella more than the first one. I had a stronger connection with the characters, and I could really feel how much they love each other. Plus, there was a lot more suspense and drama to this story that made everything more intense. I think that Alex and Paul have a great relationship, in and out of the bedroom, and I hope that they continue to explore what they could be together. I can't wait to read the next novel in this series and find out more about Alex and Paul and their "situation" that is still unresolved, and perhaps learn a little bit more about some of the other characters. (Like Max, for example!)

Title: Naughty Girl (Naughty Girl, #1)

Genre: BDSM/Erotica

Alexandra loved the hot sex she experienced as a submissive in the bedroom, but would never give her heart to any man.

After getting hurt by his sub and wife, Paul swore he would never make that kind of commitment to a woman again.

They meet at the club that Alex frequents and quickly become play partners. The sex is amazing, but despite their reservations, they begin to fall for each other. Will they be willing to admit their feelings for each other?

Contains some BDSM (light) and sexual situations. Intended for audiences 18+

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This novella was a fun, short read. Plenty of naughtiness packed into a small little package.

Alex is a smart, independent woman, who doesn't need a man in her life - that is until she steps foot into the local BDSM club and becomes the perfect submissive. However, her last Dom moved out of town, and left her with a bad taste in her mouth after he became jealous and possessive. She has never wanted a serious, collared relationship with a Dom, just nights filled with naughty, naked fun. When she spots Paul, the new man in town, from across the club, she can feel that there is something special about him. They quickly discover that they make the perfect pair in the bedroom, and that their sexual chemistry is ridiculously hot! However, when they begin to have feelings for each other that push the boundaries of their nothing-serious, just-hot-sex, arrangement, will they run for the hills or find the courage to see if they can make something real out of what they feel. And when Alex's last Dom, Will, returns to town and starts trouble will Paul decide that Alex isn't worth the hassle of dealing with her baggage from the past?

I liked this story a lot. Plenty of hot sex, a lot of characterization in a short amount of time, and enough drama to give it all a little depth. Obviously I would have liked a longer read that I could really sink my teeth into, but this was a good start. Can't wait to read novella #2 in this series, "Mine."
